Time to get excited about the GGC party of the year!  We have lots of opportunities to showcase all the wonderful things GGC has done for the community, and what we will continue to do!  This event will benefit our Youth Programs this year....including Wekiva Camp/SEEK sponsorships and academic scholarships.

Once you RSVP for the 1st meeting, you will see the option to join the working group "Gardener's Golden Gala". Current materials and working ideas are posted in the Group and can be downloaded from there to get an idea of where we are going! 

Schedule:

There's plenty to do, so a schedule of meetings has been set up to ensure a successful event:

Oct 10th - Kristy's House (lunch served!) - Initial planning meeting to review all ideas put forward in group chat and make final decisions on specific activities.  Solidify who is volunteering for category teams and research.

Nov 28th - Clubhouse - Progress report on research - adjust planning as needed

Jan 9th - Clubhouse - Progress report on activities preparations

Feb 6th - Clubhouse - Final checks on any issues

Feb 23rd - SET-UP DAY!!!!

Feb 24th – Stage, Dress up and Party!

Volunteers Needed:

Researchers – stations material, tent/chaises/tall tables acquisition, music playlist, lighting options, garden pass solicitation

Food Team – menu, prep, event service

Drinks Team – time period drinks, event service

Decor Team – balloons, floral arrangements, stations, lighting, etc

Music Team – time period playlist, vocalist (crooner, lounge singer)

Fundraiser Team - Treasure Chest(s)

Advertising Team – Website, Facebook, TV/Mag/Newspapers
