GGC End of Year General Meeting 

Theme: Florida Springs Friendly Yard

Program: Speaker Haley Moody, Associate Director from the Florida Springs Institute in High Springs.  She will be talking about the science and education behind the Institute and the work they do educating the public about Florida’s springs.   A Florida Springs Friendly Yard is free of chemical fertilizers, uses no groundwater for landscape maintenance and relies on native plants.

Auction: Several donations, including a rain barrel (working on artist to paint), gift cards, 3 gal. tree,  Florida Springs pass, Florida State Park pass and more,  have been made with all proceeds to be donated to the Florida Springs Institute.

Begonia and Gardenia Circles are handling the refreshments, with some of our favorite items that you might have when picnicking at the Springs. We will be filling picnic baskets and decorating the room with lots of fun and colorful items using items associated with our Florida Springs. Be sure to plan on attending this end of year meeting beginning at 9:30 am until 11:30 am on May 16th.
