“Orchids in the Garden” at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens Saturday and Sunday, October 21 and 22, 2023 Gainesville Orchid Society’s annual juried orchid show, 

“Orchids in the Garden,” will be held Saturday, October 21, and Sunday, October 22 at the Kanapaha Botanical Gardens during the gardens’ Fall Plant Sale and Open House. Hours each day are 9-5 p.m. Both events are free and open to the public. No pets, please. 

The two-day event showcases colorful, fragrant floor displays of orchids set up by the Gainesville Orchid Society, regional societies, and vendors, all held in the Kanapaha Summer House. Orchids and orchid supplies, plus a wide variety of house and landscape plants and garden supplies will be available for sale in the gardens. 

Kanapaha Botanical Gardens is located off SW Archer Road, one mile west of Interstate 75 (Exit #384).
