Megan Kelley McCarthy is a certified permaculture design specialist and whole systems educator who has devoted the past decade to creating communal food forests and facilitating educational regenerative gardening experiences throughout her home state of Florida.
She has a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University of New Orleans. She’s completed Permaculture Design Certifications with Koreen Brennan of Grow Permaculture in Brooksville, Florida and with Ben Falk, Mark Krawczyk, and Erik Schellenberg of Whole Systems Design in Rochester, Vermont. She’s designed, installed, and cared for several communal food forest gardens and have facilitated three Permaculture Design Certifications in Florida since 2021, certifying over 75 students in permaculture design.
